Gaurav Singh Rajput was born on 28 July 1996 in Ambedkar Nagar (Ayodhya), Uttar Pradesh — a heartland of culture, history, and storytelling. He grew up and completed his schooling and college education in Lucknow, the city of Nawabs, whose rich cultural milieu left a permanent imprint on his artistic sensibility.

In 2017, Gaurav took his first formal step into performance at the prestigious Sangeet Natya Akademi, Lucknow — one of India's foremost institutions for performing arts. There he honed the craft of theatre, learning the discipline of live performance, voice, and emotional truth that would become the bedrock of everything that followed.

His early theatre credits include Hi Zindagi and Marriage.com — productions that showcased his range from comedic timing to deep emotional resonance. He then made a natural transition to digital platforms, building a strong body of work across ALT Balaji, Ullu, MX Player, Hungama, and prime-time television on Sony TV. He is currently based in Mumbai.
